Phil is the subject leader for Computer Science at Tiverton High School in Devon. He is also a Raspberry Pi enthusiast, regularly attending local Pi-Jam events. Phil has previously contributed material to the BBC Bite-Size GCSE Computing site, provided training for teachers, and has shared a wide range of free learning materials with other schools. He has also written a guide to programming, ‘Learn to Program Using C++ on the Raspberry Pi’, and will be delivering a workshop for teachers at this year's CAS National Conference in Birmingham. Prior to teaching, Phil worked as a software developer in the oil and gas exploration industry, and developed educational software for geography and ecology.
