ICT for Education Newcastle Conference 2024

The ICT for Education brand encompasses conferences, seminars and a dedicated newsletter, Sapientia.

ICT for Education conferences and seminars are now widely recognised as the leading regional technology events for teachers and schools in the UK.

The events programme was launched to help teachers and others responsible for IT and computing in UK schools to get the most out of technology in the face of ever-changing curriculum demands and constantly evolving classroom technology.

ICT for Education events provide an appropriate environment for those supplying technology to schools to meet teachers and to showcase their products and services in a relaxed, consultative and professional manner. Our events are a perfect environment for networking and doing business.

Independent and authoritative, The ICT for Education brand is trusted by teachers. Conferences, seminars and Sapientia represent their views, concerns and experiences, and deal with the issues faced when looking to successfully teach and implement ICT within school. By bringing teachers together and sharing information and experience, ICT for Education is an invaluable source of information to teachers and school leaders.

Conferences

Since 2012 ICT for Education conferences have looked to inform and inspire the teaching of computing and the use of ICT across the school curriculum. They also address the use of technology in the running of a school be it on an administrative basis or the provision of a safe and secure network.

Speaker sessions are delivered by expert and experienced speakers who understand the demands and challenges faced in schools in the classroom and beyond.

Delegates can see live product demonstrations and product reviews where the credentials of the latest technologies are put to the test. Conferences also have an exhibition where teachers / schools can meet knowledgeable and established technology suppliers in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Event timing: 07.30am – 12.30pm

Seminars

ICT for Education seminars are local events focussing on a key technology topic relevant to teachers and schools.

Thank you so much… These events are superbly organised and I’m so grateful to get the invitations. Here at Highwood, we’re looking to write our own computing curriculum…and the last talk I went to that you organised had some really, really incredibly minded individuals that blew me away.
