Louise is head of the junior school at Tormead School. She has a background as a musician and has been director of music at prep schools in both the UK and overseas. Having been a school webmaster, and having extensive experience in both music technology and digital photography, Louise has a broad perspective of how essential technology can be in today’s schools, and how it can be used deftly in the classroom. An exponent of the digital arts in schools, she has used technology extensively in her teaching, not just in music, but across all subject areas. Louise believes careful use of tablets can enable pupils to learn independently, increase creativity and support learning.
