Katie is an enthusiastic higher education leader with broad experience in pedagogy and technology across the sector. Over twenty years’ experience in designing, managing and implementing innovative educational strategies and projects to deliver an excellent student experience.

Katie moved to the University of Sussex in 2021, following 20 years at the University of Brighton in a progression of technology enhanced learning roles.

Katie is Co-Chair of the Playful Learning Association, a supportive community focussed on the use of play in adult learning to share research evidence, provide a forum for discussion and to support the development of a variety of outputs.
