Jill Hodges leads Amazon UK’s educational outreach programme, Amazon Future Engineer. Since launch in 2019 AFE has engaged with over 400K students and their teachers, with engaging opportunities to gain skills and confidence to engage with Careers of the Future.

Jill was Founder and former CEO of Fire Tech, one of the UK’s leading providers of digital skills education for under 18s. Fire Tech’s mission was to empower all young people with the skills to help them create, problem-solve and communicate with technology. Built an award-winning consumer business and developed partnerships with corporates, governments and NGOs to ensure that young people from all backgrounds gain the confidence and skills to become the next generation of innovation leaders. Delivered learning experiences to young people around the globe, with a stellar team of inspiring university student tutors.
