I was a teacher (physics) for the last 20 years, most recently as a Deputy Head Curriculum and Standards. From September first, I have taken the role of STEM Ambassador Hub Manager for Greater Manchester.

I am passionate about STEM education, raising the aspirations of young people, particularly the disadvantaged pupils and inspiring the next generation of the STEM workforce. Our purpose is to link volunteers working in the STEM industries with teachers and students with a view to increase science capital and support the future workforce.
