Achim Jung is Professor for Computer Science at the University of Birmingham. He is one of the founding members of Computing at School and has organised the annual CAS National Conference since 2009. He is involved in encouraging his computer science students to take up a career in teaching through the Undergraduate Ambassador Scheme. Recently, he has led the CAS policy group that responded to the DfE consultation on the GCSE subject criteria.
