ICT for Education's national conference programme visits SALFORD on Friday 9th October 2020 and will be held at AJ BELL STADIUM.

The conference runs from 7.30am to 1.15pm.  Attendance is FREE for all delegates, and includes lunch and refreshments. 

Drawing on both regional and national ICT expertise, we have sourced a great line-up of speakers who will address ICT challenges faced by both teachers and schools.  Alongside the conference, we will be hosting a vendor exhibition - showcasing solutions to meet your ICT needs.

Matt Hogan, learning manager (KS4), Raspberry Pi Foundation, and former teacher

Matt will discuss how to engage students in Computing and show the relevance of e-learning to a range of subject areas and skill sets. He will also explore how teachers can inspire students to become creative with technology, rather than simply learning to use it. In a showcase of free online courses from the NCCE, he’ll explain how participating teachers can return to their classrooms with practical tools to inspire and motivate students, and make a tangible impact on their learning. Matt’s message is simple but effective: take one idea and make it happen!

An independent product review session that will put products to the test and give you real insight into their capabilities. ICT Reviews Live! will be led by the ICT for Education reviews team. Number 67 to Liverpool Road, Irlam (runs every 12 mins peak and between every 15-30 mins off peak). The stadium is a two minute walk to the stadium from this stop.
