Teachers don’t want school day extended after kids miss out in lockdown, poll finds

Most teachers surveyed said they thought pupils would get more value from more sport and exercise, and increased creative and practical learning after months of missed classroom time. The vast majority of teachers do not want to extend the school day to make up for lost time during the coronavirus lockdown, a survey has found.
