Mask rules extended in England’s secondary schools

Rules around face masks in secondary schools in England are being extended after the Easter holidays. The announcement was made by the government minister in charge of education, Gavin Williamson. He said coverings – which have been required since schools reopened fully last month – would remain as “a precautionary measure” until at least 17 May.
