Government faces legal challenge over ‘failures’ after telling children without internet to go back to school

The Government is facing a legal challenge over claims it has “continuously failed” to ensure disadvantaged pupils can carry out their schoolwork online. Not-for-profit legal organisation the Good Law Project has written a pre-action letter to the Department for Education, alleging it is putting low-income and Black, Asian and minority ethnic (Bame) pupils at risk by instructing them to attending school during lockdown.
