A leading children’s charity questions the education secretary’s suggestion pupils’ discipline will have declined during lockdown. Education Secretary Gavin Williamson wants the use of mobile phones in schools to be banned as part of a crackdown on bad behaviour following children’s “lack of regular structure and discipline” during lockdown.
