Regional IT Conferences for Education Professionals

ICT for Education’s national conference programme visits BRIGHTON, and will be held on Friday 13th June 2025 at The Amex Stadium.

The conference runs from 7.30 am to 12.40 pm. Attendance is FREE for all delegates.

Drawing on both regional and national ICT expertise, we have sourced a great line-up of speakers who will address ICT challenges faced by both teachers and schools. Alongside the conference, we will be hosting a vendor exhibition – showcasing solutions to meet your ICT needs.

08:35 – 08:40: Welcome from the Conference Chairman – Prof. Miles Berry.

08:40 – 09:00: Keynote 1: Tig Williams – University Lecturer.

09:00 – 09:40: ICT Reviews Live!
An independent product review session that will put products to the test and give you real insight into their capabilities. Watch the reviews, comment on product content, consider underlying technologies, discuss ease of use and share your opinions on how you would like suppliers to develop products and services to meet the needs of teachers and schools.

09:40 – 10:25: Coffee and visit the Exhibition.

10:25 – 10:45: Keynote 2: “Cyber Choices: Safeguarding Against Crime” from Police Sergeant Karina Puttock, Cyber Crime Unit, South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU)

10:45 – 11:00: “Helping schools protect against cyber-attacks” with Secure Schools – Jacob Brown, Business Development Manager (UK South).

11:00 – 11.30: Coffee and visit the Exhibition.

11:30 – 11:50: Keynote 3: Prof. Miles Berry – Professor of Computing at the University of Roehampton.

11:50 – 12:10: Keynote 4: “Teaching code to neurodiverse children” with Amy Cartwright – Head of Digital Innovation and Learning at Ibstock Place School.

12:10 – 12:30: Keynote 5: “The Digital Dilemma: the importance of media literacy” with Allen Tsui – Computer Science and Computing Subject Lead, Willow Brook Primary School Academy, London.
