The impact of COVID-19 fast-tracked the development and launch of VEXcode VR from VEX Robotics. This is a free, web-based software that facilitates learning Computer Science and Robotics by allowing students to code a virtual robot in a block-based coding environment. This then also allows the transition to text-based Python programming.
