Terms and conditions for delegate bookings

Your booking constitutes a legally binding contract and our terms and conditions take precedence over those of any other organisation in every case.

Payments and confirmation of bookings
All payments must be in pounds sterling. VAT is applicable to all purchases at the UK prevailing rate. Once we have received details of your paid booking, we will send you a receipted VAT invoice. If payment is not made at the time of booking, your registration will be provisional and confirmation will only be sent when payment has been received in full. We must receive payment prior to the conference date. All correspondence between Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education and the delegate will be made via email. Please ensure you provide a valid email address. Lima Publishing Limited and ICT for Education does not accept responsibility for the non-arrival of information.

Cancellations and booking charges
All cancellations must be made in writing to andrew.metcalfe@limapublishing.com.
Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the conference date will receive a 100% refund, less £30.00 (+VAT) administration fee. Cancellations made 4-8 weeks before the conference date will receive a 50% refund, less £30.00 (+VAT) administration fee. The company regrets that no cancellations are acceptable 4 weeks or less before conference date onwards, and therefore no refunds are payable from this date, however a substitute delegate can be nominated. Please note that substitutions will only be accepted if notified in writing prior to 2 weeks before conference date.

Whilst the programme is correct at the time of going to press, Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education reserves the right to make changes to the programme, location and/or speakers without prior notice. Such alterations may occasionally be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

Where circumstances force cancellation of the conference in its entirety, Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education will make every effort to refund as much of the conference fee to each paying delegate as possible, having regard for any irrecoverable costs of production for which Lima Publishing Limited remains liable. Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education is not liable for any consequential loss suffered by the delegate.

Speakers
Views expressed by speakers are their own. Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education disclaim any liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the event or in any documentation provided to delegates.

Filming and photography
Please note that for promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the event.

Accomodation
Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee. However, reduced rates may have been arranged at the conference venue. Please see website for more details, or contact info@limapublishing.com.

Delegate access and dietary requirements
We make every effort to ensure that our events are accessible and enjoyable for all our delegates, and we always provide a vegetarian option for lunch. Please let us know at the time of booking - either by ticking the box on the delegate registration form, or by emailing info@limapublishing.com. If you have any other dietary requirements please inform our Operations Team at the time of booking on info@limapublishing.com

Data protection and privacy
This privacy policy applies to any information acquired by and/or provided to Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education including but not limited to: information provided through use of the website; information provided during the course of orders, transactions and bookings; information provided through enquiries or by the completion of any request and or invitation for information. Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education may gather information about you when you use our website.

Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education recognises that your privacy is important to you. The information you submit to Lima Publishing Limited, and the ICT for Education Conferences will be kept confidential and secure once received. The information will be processed by Lima Publishing Limited or on its behalf under strictly regulated conditions in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.

By registering for the conference/s and disclosing personal information to Lima Publishing Limited and ICT for Education you consent to the collection, storage and processing of information in the manner described in this policy. Please note that your continued use of the Lima Publishing Limited and ICT for Education website and/or products and services constitutes your agreement to any changes to this policy and the website terms and conditions of use.

Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education will only disclose this information in the following circumstances:
i. where your consent has been obtained;
ii. where there is a legal obligation;
iii. where there is a public duty; and
iv. in connection with the assignment or transfer of all or any of its rights and obligations to any of its group companies or to any other third party.

Lima Publishing Limited and the ICT for Education Operations Team can also provide you with information relating to your booking and also other Lima Publishing Limited/ICT for Education related products or services via email, direct mail, fax or telephone. We will be sharing your name, title and company information only with other Lima Publishing Limited and ICT for Education conference participants.
