BehaviourWatch

Improve behaviour to enhance the learning experience

Tracking behaviour can be very time-consuming. Managing all of the information can be even more daunting. As the paper piles up, can you really say that you’re effectively handling the reporting of incidents, let alone manage them? What would happen if information goes missing, or is recorded incorrectly, or not even acted upon? With web-based electronic forms, you could be recording incidents as they happen then automatically emailing them to relevant staff, leading to a paperless environment. With rich and detailed analysis, you would be able to improve classroom behaviour and the learning experience.

BehaviourWatch is an advanced web-based system which allows teachers to log behaviour incidents online and eliminates the need for paper-based reports. When incidents are logged automatic emails will immediately alert relevant staff and intelligent analysis enables quick identification of areas of concern. Most importantly the system is completely tailored to the individual school's needs.

Bose in Education

In the modern teaching environment, ever increasing class sizes has made keeping pupils engaged and working effectively a harder task than ever before. Sound reinforcement is becoming increasingly the norm in both schools and higher education, with audio integrating with other technologies such as whiteboards and screens to ensure that all students benefit from the learning resources that are presented to them.

BoseÂŽ offers solutions that will direct sound where it is needed, engaging students with just the right amount of clarity and volume, without  intruding on adjoining classrooms.  From stand-alone systems such as the WaveÂŽ Music System or SoundDockÂŽ for iPodÂŽ, to multimedia computer speakers that fill the room with high quality sound from any computer programme, and installed speakers that can link to a whiteboard or screen, even those at the back of the room will be able to hear every word and every note clearly.

Additionally, sound can be used to create a calming atmosphere in areas such as corridors and spaces where students congregate for lunch or social activities.

Lecture halls, auditoriums and school assembly halls can also benefit from a Bose solution, with sophisticated control of often complex requirements offered by the Bose ControlSpaceÂŽ ESP-88 DSP audio management system.  This gives huge flexibility, allowing the system to be switched from assembly mode to presentation or performance mode at the flick of a switch.

CSEF works in collaboration with the emergency services, local education authorities, teachers, parents and carers to ensure that resources, knowledge and expertise are used in a way that it maximises the impact of accident prevention work and delivers positive results.

The charity is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to educate, train and improve preventative safety education. It also realises that it is not always possible to reach every child with events and workshops so has integrated digital technology into its product portfolio.

Teachers2Parents

Teachers2Parents is a communication service, which works with your school database to give you a simple and more efficient way of communicating with parents.

Teachers do not have the time to communicate with a large number of parents on a regular basis. Yet parents would provide better support to their child if they were kept informed more often. For various reasons, phone calls to parents can be unnecessarily time consuming and school reports are relatively infrequent. Using text messaging, teachers can inform parents far more frequently; putting pupils under constant pressure. At the same time, parents can also be notified to praise their child for good progress at school.

Each text message is automatically personalised to include the pupils name. As there is no need to type each message or any part of it, they are sent immediately with immense ease.

"Beautifully organised, a comprehensive schedule and warm, knowledgeable presenters make a TRA seminar essential for those considering retirement. A 'must' for any teacher considering retirement." - Jennifer Beckles, Times Educational Supplement
