Improve behaviour to enhance the learning experience

Tracking behaviour can be very time-consuming. Managing all of the information can be even more daunting. As the paper piles up, can you really say that you’re effectively handling the reporting of incidents, let alone manage them? Teachers2Parents is a communication service, which works with your school database to give you a simple and more efficient way of communicating with parents.

Teachers do not have the time to communicate with a large number of parents on a regular basis. Yet parents would provide better support to their child if they were kept informed more often. Vital, a new approach to ICT Continuous Professional Development, an innovative professional development programme delivered by Open University and e-skills UK aiming to support schools in England to make the most of ICT in their teaching.

Vital, alongside other CPD providers, agencies and employers, is working with specialist technology teachers (of IT, Computing and ICT), as well as all teachers and support staff seeking to use new technologies to enhance learning across the curriculum.

Vital is open to all staff in schools and sixth form colleges across England and will support the development of a range of forms of ICT CPD. These include courses, more informal CPD activities such as case studies, springboard activities and peer-peer interaction.
